April 7, 2015--sound editing in Adobe Premiere

It has been 2 weeks that we have been shooting our silent film project.

When doing the sound, you will want the sound to aim to the highest point at -6 in Premiere.   If you are not reaching that high on the sound meter.   You do NOT want it going over zero or it will be distorted, and if it doesn't go over 12, it might be too soft and inaudible.

Demonstrate how sound works.  How to import sound to the track

highlighting gray area on your timeline to tell premiere where to place the audio track.  If it isn't distinguished

Basically---an overview of sound for the premiers software.
